About the Program
We are proud to announce the creation of the Royal Research Scholar Program. In lieu of the current state of the United States, we have found that it is more important than ever for students to learn how to research and explore the information that exists in the world. This opportunity to become a Royal Scholar is limited to a select number of students, in which the program goes through the whole process of curating a research paper with the potential of becoming published in a research journal or article.

How impactful is it to become a Royal Research Scholar?
We have seen quite a large success from the students that have went through the program. In particular, we have seen that this research program has given opportunities to students to land research positions at some of the most prestigious universities, internships in political campaigns, or even stand out in college applications and scholarship programs. Research is not an easily accessible skill to gain, thus colleges are particularly interested in students who have these skills before entering college.
What is the general research process like?
The research experience will be designed in a way that will allow students to explore a topic of interest while allowing the student to gain full ownership of the research paper or article. This means that Royal Education will guide the student through the whole process:
Defining what constitutes strong and weak sources in a paper.
How to design and implement a strong research paper.
Where to submit the paper or article to credible journals or conferences.
It is important to note that the general writing and effort will be mostly from the Royal Scholar, as we want students to take full ownership of the direction of the research paper.
When should I get started? How long is the general process?
We recommend that students start as soon as possible in the process. Dependent on the type of research paper or article that we are working on, the general research and writing process usually takes around 2-3 months. Afterwards, submitting the paper for potential publication along with review can take from 1-6 months, dependent on the journal or publication that the paper is sent to and the deadlines. Thus, starting early will allow us to provide more support and chances to maximize the opportunities available.
